Reversible raincoat, icon of our archive. Reversibles are technically the most complex item to make in our archive and are our best-selling item. It is a smooth, city raincoat, very straight, with a slim fit. One side is made of Solaro, an iconic English fabric that has been the fabric par excellence of refined raincoats since 1924. Turning the garment over, the other side is a coat in original English Shetland wool, also this one, with a Batavia design. The hem of the garment is traditionally left open and finished by inverting the hems so as to avoid the two fabrics contrasting with each other.
The garment has a raglan sleeve with a slim regular fit. When the garment is worn, the raised collar shows the other side of the fabric as on the lapel.
