Original iconic trench coat of military origin. The trench coat has a slim line, ankle-length, has a double-breasted closure with five rows of buttons. By raising the cape, there is a button underneath that allows you to close the lapel all the way to the top and close the cape on it to ensure the watertightness of the opening. The collar has a hook on the strap and a chin strap with buckle and buttons. The eyelets of the belt and the chin strap, to avoid being ruined by the metal tongue of the hand-covered leather buckles, are made with metal veils; the same ones are also found on the cuff straps. The belt has metal rings that were originally used to attach hand grenades and on the shoulders, the buttoned epaulettes, allowed you to secure the straps of binoculars, muskets, canteens and anything else that was needed not to lose during a rapid attack by enemy forces. The trench coat is in fact a garment that has come down to us unchanged from the tradition of the First World War, being precisely a trench garment.
The garment is made of a very tight technical gabardine and is unlined with the internal seams finished with contrasting color ribbons. Also inside the garment is provided with a detachable padded lining in quilted technical fabric. The detachable is fastened with our historic buttoning method that does not include eyelets, but leaves engineered spaces in the perimeter seam of the garment to accommodate the buttons.
